1. Tangalooma Resort

Tangalooma resort offers a number of services direct to the resort seven
days a week. All boats are modern, air conditioned and offer tea, coffee,
beer and wine. The journey to Tangalooma Resort will take approximately
one hour.
Depart Holt Street Terminal:
· Check-in at the ticket office
· You will receive Deep Blue luggage tags and boarding passes
· Place your luggage in the steel luggage bins provided.
· If you wish to leave your vehicle at Holt Street there is a lock-up
yard available at a cost of $5 per day.
Arrive Tangalooma Resort:
· Deep Blue’s main entrance is located on the north side
(left) of the building
· To enter Deep Blue use magnetic card (Entrance code also available)
· Take lift to level one
· Turn left out of lifts to apt 3
· To enter apartment use magnetic card
· Your luggage will be delivered adjacent the lift on the ground
floor within one hour of arrival (If it has not arrived within that ·
time contact the resort on 3410 6000)
Depart Tangalooma Resort:
· The day before departure call the resort on 3410 6000 and advise
which boat you will departing
· The resort will advise the time your luggage must be available
for collection
· Place your luggage adjacent the lift on the ground floor
· Leave swipe card on kitchen bench
· Collect your boarding passes at the ticket office which is located
adjacent Deep Blue at the end of the jetty approximately 20 minutes prior
to departure
· Should you require a taxi to meet you at Holt Street, bookings
can be made on board the flyer. (a booking announcement will be made after
departure)
Arrive Holt Street Terminal:
· On arrival at Holt Street your luggage can be collected from
the steel luggage storage bins
2. The Moreton Venture
Mi Cat - Howard Smith Drive Lytton 3909 3333
The Moreton Venture offers a number of services direct to the resort
seven days a week. The new Mi Cat is a 4 wheel drive and passenger barge.
The Mi Cat offers a comfortable journey arriving just north of Tangalooma
Resort in a little over an hour. The barge is modern, air conditioned
and offers tea, coffee, beer, wine and light hot food.
Departing Howard Smith Drive:
· Collect boarding passes from ticket office
· Follow staff directions
Arriving Moreton Island:
· Turn North (Left) off barge.
· Several hundred metres up beach turn right into “Middle
Road” (Eastern Beach)
· Follow middle Road for several minutes and turn right into “Tangalooma
By-Pass” (Important - Please note, beware of oncoming traffic as
the Tangalooma By-Pass is a two way track. Approximately every 100 metres
there are passing areas).
· Travel along the By-Pass for approximately 10 minutes.
· Continue past the boom-gate to your right (this is entry to houses
on the hill)
· Approximately 100 metres further down the track is the vehicle
entry into Deep Blue (this entry is difficult to see until you are adjacent)
· Swipe white plastic entry card
· Drive to car park No 3
· Enter Deep Blue and use the lift to level one
· Turn left out of lifts to apt 3
· Use Tangalooma swipe card to enter apartment
· The Tangalooma swipe card can also be used to enter Deep Blue’s
main entrance on the northern side of the building (Entrance code also
available)
Depart Tangalooma Resort:
· Leave Deep Blue approximately 45 minutes before barge departure
time
· Use white plastic swipe card to open gate (please note –
card reader is located under walk bridge
3. The Combie Trader

Depart Scarborough:
· Collect boarding passes from ticket office
· Follow staff directions
Arrive Moreton Island:
· Turn South (Right) off barge
· Continue South past Cowan Cowan until Middle Road
· Follow middle Road for several minutes and turn right into “Tangalooma
By-Pass” (Important - Please note, beware of oncoming traffic as
the Tangalooma By-Pass is a two way track. Approximately every 100 metres
there are passing areas).
· Travel along the By-Pass for approximately 10 minutes.
· Continue past the boom-gate to your right (this is entry to houses
on the hill)

General Information
As a guest staying at a privately owned apartment you can enjoy all resort
facilities except dolphin feeding. Guests can however watch dolphin feeding
from the jetty observation area.
Club Toys and Get Wet Sports provide a large range of activities ranging
from less expensive activities such as canoeing and fishing boat and cater
marine hire to full scuba diving courses and Para flying.
