What is the difference between Moreton
Island and Tangalooma?
Moreton Island is the Island off the east coast of Brisbane
Australia. Tangalooma is the western coast of the Island where
the resort is found.

Can I park my car and leave it at the wharf?
There is a secure (fenced & locked) open-air car park
is available at the Tangalooma terminal at Holt St Wharf at
a cost of $6 per vehicle per day or $30 per week.
When is the Whale Watching
Season?
The whale watching season runs from mid-June through to the
end of October each year. Book whale watching with the Tangalooma

What is the Island Climate?
In summer (december) the Island average temperature is 28
degrees celcius. In winter (june) the average temperature
is 20 degrees celcius.
Are there disabled facilities at Tangalooma?
Yes, the resort is very wheelchair friendly with disabled
toilets and ramp access to most facilities.
How are Dolphins fed?
Dolphins are hand fed at night time by the Dolphin team and
booked guests. This can be booked with the Tangalooma Resort.

Are there EFTPOS facilities available on Tangalooma?
EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available at several
locations at the resort including reception, resort shop,
tours desk, restaurants and bar.
Do you have day cruises? Do you see Dolphins
on the day cruise?
There are day cruises to
Tangalooma. For information on
tangalooma tours.
Dolphins are not fed from these cruises, rather they are
fed at night in shallow water along the beach. There is a
good chance that you will see dolphins along the cruise however.
Is there Internet access at Tangalooma?
An Internet booth is provided at the Tangalooma Resort, at
a rate of $2.00 for 10 minutes.
